Our Prize
Thanks to a give away by our friend Sassy we were the winners of some
personalized stickers from Delightdesignsbiz.
They were delivered at a perfect time;
the girls and I had just finished harvesting the berries on
our chokecherry tree and made them into jelly.
The stickers fit perfectly on the tops of our jars!!
Unfortunately it didn't set so well.
It didn't stop us from putting it on some fresh bread.
Though I think a better solution is using it for a thick waffle syrup.
You just never know who will receive a little "sweet treat".

Ohmygosh I haven't tasted the taste of chokecherries forever, and I've never known of it to set up like planned. In fact, if you say "chokecherry jam" to me, I think of runny, gooey, sticky syrup on fresh buttered bread... mmmm.
I ordered stickers like that from DelightDesingsBiz right after Sassy posted them. Love 'em!
I think there was a little Chokecherry fairy floating around on the west side this afternoon!
Can't wait to try it now!

I was counting with the kindergarten kids today and signing them for the little boy in the class! thank goodness the kids only were going to 10!
