Happy Thanksgiving

Okay, so I'm a wee bit late but .... our neighbours to the south are giving thanks next week so Happy Thanksgiving!

The girls were in charge of setting the table. They decided to have the same 'fancy' table decor as one of their favourite restaurants ~ Montana's... we covered the table with brown butcher paper and they used Sharpies to draw place mats around each plate. Then they dug into my stamps and decorated the rest with leaves and other fall stamps.

We saw the paper bag drumstick here

We were fortunate enough to celebrate Thanksgiving with my brother and my sister and my 3 nieces....

Trick or Treat Tuesday Giveaway Week Two

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving spending time with loved ones, family & friends
or enjoying the long weekend doing what makes you happy.

We made a trip down to ND to spend some family time together, check out the zoo, swim in the hotel pool
and of course do some shopping.
The girls came home with a plastic tub full of clothing and some fun snacks that we don't get up here. We thought we should share so this week we are making two draws...

one for the Candy Corn flavour Hershey kisses

and one draw for the Carmel Apple Hershey Kisses.

I'm sad to report that we found NO Pumpkin Spice Kisses this year... that's how good they are!! None in Bismarck nor Minot!! Maybe next time!!!

Leave us a comment to
let us know which you'd prefer and how you'd use them.
We'll make the draw on Friday am before school
.
Good Luck!!

Turkey Fry 2009

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our dear friend
Viki (aka "my wife").
We tried something new with the turkey this year and had our first
TURKEY FRY.
It was tasty, Baba and Moto-Moto were picking at the crispy skin while carving it and thought they could just fill their plate with that.

The rest of us enjoyed a few other things:

Garlic Herb Mashed Potatoes
Honey Glazed Garden Carrots
Oriental Salad
Roasted Mixed Veggies
&
Fried Turkey

CJ helped make a yummy banana chocolate crepe dish AND we had
one of Viki's famous cheesecakes...
Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake with Gingerbread Crumb Crust!

We spent the rest of the evening playing, visiting and being thankful for our great family and wonderful friends! Thanks Viki!
